Properties

Colorless transparent viscous liquid, almost odorless. Fully miscible with water and many organic solvents, low volatility.
Boiling point: 270℃, closed-cup flash point approx 143℃, density: 1.02 g/cm³. Low-toxicity polyglycol, good coupling & humectant performance.

Main applications

1. Coatings & inks: Slow-evaporating coalescing agent, leveling agent for waterborne & industrial coatings, UV raw material for TPGDA

2. PU & resin: Polyol intermediate for polyurethane elastomers, unsaturated polyester

3. Personal care: Humectant, solvent and viscosity modifier for cosmetics

4. Others: Industrial cleaners, textile lubricants, hydraulic fluids, formulation coupling agent
